LEGENDS When your eyes adjust, you find yourself in a slightly spartan room, standing on a platform that seems to be made of glass or some sort of crystal. Energy currents in blues and greens swirl within it, dizzying and hypnotizing if stared at for too long. You're shocked from the vision by a cheery, bubbly voice that belongs to a petite brunette grinning at you from the base of the steps that lead down from the platform. She apologizes for any inconvenience you may have been caused, and hands you a small package, explaining that inside you'll find a phone, a directory of locations within the complex you've arrived in, a charge card with a balance of $500, and a key to a room in the dormitories which can be reached by following the green line on your directory. She apologizes again for how confusing this must all be, but assures you that everything will make sense soon! FIRST WAVE OF ARRIVALS (Dated: July 24th - August 2nd) Charles your 'fearless leader' introduced himself and made himself available for questions and comments. There is plenty to do in HQ as well as in the city but first you must be examined at the Hospital Wing to make sure that you aren't taking anything deadly with you into the world. QUOTE: "The manner in which you arrived on this plane of existence remains a mystery, and is a matter we are currently researching, however, how you came to arrive here from your point of origin...is a rather complicated process. Suffice to say Airy created a funnel that collected your arriving essence and channeled it to coalesce onto the platform on which you 'awoke', so to speak." (Charles EVENT 1) He then gave some information about HQ and what is available to them but there are still a lot of unanswered questions. EVENT 1: IMPORTANT MEETING (Dated: August 2nd, 8:30pm - 7:00 am) Rachel set up times where she'd be at her office in the Hospital. She's there to talk about any special cases regarding going out into the city and the arrivals physical exams. She also spoke with Harry about magic and possibly convincing her grandfather to allow the arrivals to learn the magic that's native to the Cycle Universe. QUOTE: "I'm afraid my grandfather isn't the most trusting man but I might be able to convince him with a little bit of time." (Rachel EVENT 1.2) EVENT 1.2: HOSPITAL VISITS (Dated: August 5th-15th) Things were quiet throughout the month of September, aside from an announcement that the Magic wing was open for training, that the head of Magical studies and security at HQ was willing to teach those apt to learn, and Something Happened. People started seeing things, then those things people were seeing started to bleed over and Everyone started seeing things, and experiencing things. What happened is anyone's guess. There are rumors milling around the NPCs that Airy isn't feeling well and may be in a coma, but what that may or may not explain hasn't really been discussed and no one seems to be talking.
