Leave the header blank if you have a general question for anyone and we'll choose who you run into. Actions must be at the places and times listed for the NPC's. You can call or text them at any time, however, be careful. People are grumpy when you wake them from sleeping.

AIRY MILLER

Airy Miller
» The Creator «

Airy is adorable, friendly and helpful. She'll greet everyone with a smile and complete any task she takes on. She sometimes spaces out and blunders when speaking but her innocent and hardworking demeanor give those at HQ hope. She's called The Creator by some though she insists to be called Airy. A few people even call her by her full name Ariana. She spends most of her day practicing, studying or working around HQ. She can be found anywhere and around breakfast time will help out in the kitchen. For the moment, Airy is unavailable.

NATHAN DRUMMOND

Nathan Drummond
» Druid «

Nathan can be temperamental at times but he's a nice guy. He's theatrical in nature and before all this he'd wanted to be a Broadway actor. Most mornings he isn't available due to intense training but he's around for meal times and then later in the evening. He can be found anywhere within HQ.

GUS ALLAWAY

Gus Allaway
» Werewolf «

Gus, also know as Fergus, is an old dog and has seen many things. He can only be found in the cafeteria and sometimes in the halls. In light of a recent event he's usually in a bad mood but he's an unspoken father to a lot of the younger orphans in HQ including Airy.

LUTHER RIEBEN

Luther Rieben
» Vampire «

Luther is short tempered and rude. He's very young for his race and doesn't have a handle on controlling his emotions. He'll use force if you happen to wander to where you don't belong and he won't handle you lightly. His hours are at night and about once a week he'll leave HQ. He can be found in the restricted area's kicking your butt out and then in the training rooms or meeting rooms.

CHARLES RIEBEN

Charles Rieben
» Vampire «

Charles is logical and friendly. He's very interested in you and your world though he might come on as insensitive at times. He is the 'fearless leader' of HQ and has seen to it that those arriving do so with information and comfort. His hours are at night and he will only be available to speak to earlier in the week. He can be found in the offices if you have questions about HQ or complaints about his son.

NATALIA RIEBEN

Natalia Rieben
» Vampire «

Natalia is cold and stern. She isn't interested in you and is very busy with her work. She is available at night and towards the end of the week in the offices. If you need something concerning HQ and living there Natalia is who you have to see. She will not put up with people wasting her time.

ANTONIO VEGA

Antonio Vega
» Vampire «

Antonio is private and distant. He's in charge of additions to HQ as well as structural issues. If you need a specific practice space or anything concerning architecture he's available to you Wednesdays between the hours of 10:00 pm and Mid-night in the offices.

Rachel Flores

Rachel Flores
» Wizard «

Rachel is friendly and motherly. She is in charge of the magical aspect of the Hospital Wing and healing as well as oversees the Day Care. She can be stern and forceful if you choose to be childish around her but she's willing to work with you depending on the question. She'll be free any evening in either or office or the day care with her daughter Belle. Magic and hospital related questions should be directed to her.

CAIRN

Cairn Kilpatrick
» Wizard «

Cairn is grumpy and hard to talk too. He is in charge of the Magic Wing and teaching those who want to learn Cycles magic. He will be free all week in the early morning, around 6:00 am, and will not tolerate being bothered after 11 am. He can be found at his office or in the magic training area.

[From her summation of those here Antonio is most likely the best person to ask. She doesn't expect a favorable answer but asking couldn't hurt and she'll be no worse off than she was before. He's harder to get a hold of and so she waits, playing her argument out in her head.

Her knuckles rap softly on the door to his office before pressing the flat of her palm against the door.]

Excuse me? Antonio, are you here?

[She knows he is, she smells it, but she's too accustom to acting human.]

[Looking up from his sketchpad toward the door before the knock, he responds nearly immediately. It isn't often someone knocks at his door.]

Of course I'm here. It's Wednesday, isn't it?

[Elena exhales a slow breath and pushes open the door. Her eyebrow rises as she steps inside the office while an ease expression tugs at her lips.]

That it is. [She closes the door behind her and decides to get straight to the point. He seems like the sort of person who prefers a succinct conversation.]

I'll try and be quick. [Elena doesn't bother taking a seat.] I wanted to offer a deal and I thought that you might be the only one who'd understand. I'm a photographer or I was, before coming here. I need to acquire a camera but it'll take a long time to have the equipment that I had before. In order to work I need a backer.

[She exhales and then continues.]

If you are willing to be that backer, dock my current allowance and I'll pay you back, with interest, over time. I don't know the complications of an art show while I am here but we're below New York. I'm sure I can figure something out. [At the end of her proposition she flashes him a small smile.]

[Antonio doesn't respond immediately, just watching her motions with a sort of passing interest.]

I wonder, what is it about me that makes you think I'd care?

[His tone isn't mocking or disinterested. In fact, quite the opposite. He's very curious.]

You're an artist.

[She nods down at his pen.]

That isn't a cheap pen and quite frankly you didn't seem interested in anything but your sketchbook.

[Elena pauses again, her head tilting to the side.]

That's also really nice paper.

Architect. [It was a subtle correction, but an important one. He couldn't recreate soulful scenes from his imagination or anything like that.

He places down that very nice pen next to his very nice sketchbook, and folds his hands on his desk in front of him.]

How is this for a deal? If you've been cleared, show me what you can do with an iPhone camera. If you impress me, I'll do more than back you.

[Elena nods, accepting the correction to her diction.]

That sounds like a fair deal.

[Her eyes move from his gaze to the blueprints on the walls. She peers around curiously before settling her gaze back on Antonio.]

You appear to be busy. I'll see you next week.

I'm always busy. [But he nods to her.]

But I look forward to seeing your work.

[She leaves and as promised appears at his office at 10:30 pm the following Wednesday. She uses her I-phone but has gotten the imagines printed for him to see. She tries not to look nervous but she's still trying to get her work recognized by the world at large.

Art is a tricky business and its something that she truly loves. She knocks and the pushes open the door.]

Evening Antonio.

[Elena smiles and steps forward, holding out a portfolio of the photo's that she'd had taken. Thankfully, it isn't hard for a cute girl to find models in New York.]

As promised. My work.

[Antonio looks up from his work, surprised she'd actually returned. He takes the folder, and leafs through it slowly, eyebrows raised in surprise. He hadn't expected this sort of talent, if he were honest.]

...the the composition is impressive, especially given your tools. You light to play with light and shadow.

I did have a little help.

[She admits as she takes a seat in front of him. She pulls out her phone and flicks to a small photoshop app which had helped her crop and darken a few of the photos.]

The place that made the prints said they can send away for canvas productions too. [It is apparently a common request there.] I think light and dark can tell us a lot about a soul. [She looks up at him as she spoke, her voice soft and gentle.] I usually use color filters too but always staying within the same shade.

[Her hands rest on her lap as she looks at him.]

So, what do you think?

[Antonio nods, flipping through the portfolio one more time.]

It certainly can, though one ones...is it the soul of the viewer or the subject, or that of the photographer? [His eyes moves over the curves of her subjects, his voice distant.] Perhaps it's all of the above.

[Finally, he closes the folder and looks up to her.]

I think come tomorrow, you should find the funds on your card to afford more adequate equipment. I'm also going to give you the name of a gallery owner I happen to know well. What you choose to do with it is up to you.

[Elena watches him curiously as his eyes scan over the photos. The great thing about art is that it can mean what ever the hell people want it to mean.]
