There are many places inside HQ that you can work. Those in HQ prefer this over trying to get a job within the city itself since the Government has no record of your existence. It's possible to get a job in the city, please speak with a mod for details or contact an NPC on the NPC page. The final option available are for those who want to start their own business inside of HQ. In order to do that they must speak to Antonio for permission and information; this can be hand-waved in lieu of the forms below. You're given $500 a month on top of your job. The rates given for each job vary on previous skill and position. Most start with an adder of $50 dollars per month and have promotions for those who can hold their jobs. Welcoming Committee: This job is for the overly happy characters who are great at explaining things. Airy can't be at the receiving bay all the time due to her own responsibilities and having a smiling face and extra hand to greet new arrivals would be appreciated. This position also helps organize events and their suggestions for improvements will be greatly appreciated. Cleaning/Laundry: There are over a hundred people living in HQ and, as such, there is a lot to do. The halls and rooms have to be cleaned. The loose items in the Rec Room have to be accounted for and Laundry has to be done daily. This is a thankless job so we hope the thanks to your purse will be enough compensation. Cafeteria Help: This is probably the messiest part of the underground town. There is meal prep, mopping up, dishes and a thousand other things to do. If you do one you'll most likely do them all. You can be promoted to a cooking status over time but Gus insists that everyone starts at the bottom. How else do you learn besides hard work? Stock Monkey: Another thankless job. Bathrooms have to be stocked with toilet paper and showers with towels. This job includes a lot of fetching and running around. Those with this titles will be asked to hand out information/flyers or even put up posters. Their daily tasks will involve stocking basic amenities while reporting a need for more. Library Clerk: This involves stocking and putting away books as well as cataloging them. You'll be working under Kevin, the librarian receptionist, and there will be some books you will still not be allowed near. It's a pretty boring job and you're require to remain quite. Work isn't the time or place to be asking questions. You'll also be reprimanded for being caught reading instead of putting books back. Office Secretary: NOT AVAILABLE. Day Care Provider/Teacher: There is a wide range of ages living within HQ. 20% of the populace are under the age of sixteen and considered to be children. Those who work at the daycare will have to handle children of all ages. There are teaching positions available which handle children who are five and up and are required to have a grounding for all basic subjects. They're aren't enough kids to have specialized teachers. Hospital Help: This includes a wide range of jobs. It mostly involves organizing, cleaning and taking orders. You might be able to work your way up to the rank of a doctor or nurse but it'll take time and a lot of hard work. To start you'll be running errands and be bossed around a lot. This is a busy job and great for those who wish to keep themselves occupied. Trainer (Magic/Physical Combat): NOT AVAILABLE. Mechanic: Some people are weird about you working on their cars while others just don't care. Thor, the Master Tech working in the garage, will request a test for anyone wanting to become a mechanic. He can teach you or take you on as an apprentice but you won't be paid for it. Oil changes and other basic maintenance repair is required knowledge. The hours are random but the work environment is more relaxed. Security: NOT AVAILABLE. Just fill in the form below. Please make sure to include the textarea HTML tag when you post your comment! DAY CARE PROVIDER Character: Grace Salary: +20 $/Month [Must work a minimum of 14 Hrs a week (2 hours a day)] LIBRARY HELP Character: Hermione Granger Salary: +50 $/Month [Must work a minimum of 14 Hrs a week (2 hours a day)] Character: Kristen Kringle Position: Civilian File Clerk and Archivist Salary: +150 $/Month [Must work a minimum of 32 Hrs a week] Shift: Day Shift (8AM-5PM) Character: Alexis Castle Position: Tour Guide Salary: +100 $/Month [Must work a minimum of 21 Hrs a week] |

Natalia has set you up with a false ID as well as history to get a job at the NYPD. Unlike HQ you will be required to work more hours as well as provide notice for absences. Your salary will be given to Natalia who will add the appropriate amount to your monthly allowance. You can set your hours OOC however you cannot change them once they are set. Please reply to this post with your set hours.
You will have a number of days you can miss before you will lose your job. Due to the fact that this is outside of HQ, you must rely on your own skills. Raises are harder to get however you can request one after working for 2 months. This will be handwaved, please reply to this post with the reason's why you'd like a raise or speak to Natalia IC who can help pull strings within the system to get you a better raise.
If you have any questions please reply here.
